Stocks on Bursa Malaysia closed higher yesterday with selected large-cap stocks led by plantation counters, posting good gains. The FBMKLCI gained 14.77 points or 0.82% to close at 1,807.16, after opening 2.07 points higher at 1,794.46. The index hovered between 1,794.39 and 1,813.51 during the entire trading session. Gainers led losers by 412 to 386 with 335 counters unchanged. Total turnover rose to 1.82 billion shares valued at RM2.59 billion from the 1.51 billion shares worth RM1.88 billion on Monday.
