Stocks on Bursa Malaysia ended higher yesterday, rebounding from Tuesday’s steep decline as local investors took advantage of foreign selling. At close, the benchmark FBMKLCI stood at 1,681.9, up 7.96 points or 0.48%, after opening 0.9 point lower at 1,673.04. Market breadth was positive with gainers trounced losers by 648 to 257, while 228 counters were unchanged. Total volume rose to 1.94 billion units worth RM2.06 billion from 1.64 billion units worth RM2.1 billion on Tuesday.
