Stocks on Bursa Malaysia ended lower across the board yesterday with the benchmark FBMKLCI closed lower for the six straight sessions, tracking the heavy selling on regional markets as investors were concerned over the release of weak western economic data ahead of the Jackson Hole meeting and investors may react negatively if the US Federal Reserve turned more hawkish going forward, while the drought-driven power shortages in China added to the industry woes in the republic.
