Stocks on Bursa Malaysia ended on an easier note yesterday amid
investor concern over the European debt crisis, and investors grew weary of
waiting for central banks in China
and the US
to take action to prop up business activity in the world’s number one and two
economies. The FBM KLCI fell 0.09 of a point to close at 1,648.13, after
opening 0.7 of a point better at 1,648.92. Losers led gainers by 414 to 344, while
335 counters were unchanged. Total turnover declined to 1.24 billion shares
worth RM1.07 billion, from 1.28 billion shares worth RM1.189 billion registered
