Stocks on Bursa Malaysia closed higher Wednesday on continued buying support in selected blue-chips. Meanwhile, on the regional markets, the sentiment remained cautious on a US vote on raising the nation’s borrowing limit. Bursa Malaysia was closed yesterday for the Birthday of Prophet Muhammad. The FBM KLCI added 6.59 points or 0.40% to close at 1,635.25 after hovering between 1,622.54 and 1,637.42 throughout the day. Gainers led losers by 402 to 286 while 314 counters were unchanged.
