FBM KLCI - higher on last minute buying while volume hit fresh record high

Stocks on Bursa Malaysia closed higher yesterday with gains seen in almost all indices as the benchmark FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) was boosted at the eleventh hour to end at its intraday high of 1,588.57, up 20.44 points, while trade volume across Bursa Malaysia topped 16 billion securities to hit another all-time peak for the second time this week.
