FBM KLCI - lower for the fourth straight days as windfall tax concerns and banking stocks drag

Stocks on Bursa Malaysia ended lower yesterday with the benchmark FBMKLCI finished lower for the fourth straight days dragged by selling in heavyweights led by Kuala Lumpur Kepong (KLK) as investors gauged the possibility of a windfall tax being levied on corporate Malaysia, and decline in banking stocks on news that Putrajaya is seeking to facilitate interest payment exemption through 4Q2021 for Malaysians in the bottom 50% income bracket.
