FBM KLCI - down on profit-taking as sentiment affected by U.S. crackdown on SUPERMAX

Stocks on Bursa Malaysia ended lower yesterday with the benchmark FBMKLCI finished lower after three sessions of gains on profit-taking in most index-linked counters led by stocks in the FBM ACE, healthcare and telecommunications with investor sentiment also hit by news of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection crackdown on glove maker Supermax Corp Bhd for allegedly using forced labour in the manufacturing operations.
