FBM KLCI - snapped three-day winning streaks as sentiment hit by rising Covid-19 cases

Stocks on Bursa Malaysia ended broadly lower yesterday with the benchmark FBMKLCI closed lower, snapping three consecutive days of gains, as most component stocks succumbed to selling pressure amid rising Covid-19 cases in the country with 6,075 new cases yesterday, and talks of a stricter lockdown in Selangor as a measure to contain further infections had dampened market sentiment further.
