FBM KLCI - down on profit-taking correction

Stocks on Bursa Malaysia ended lower yesterday with the benchmark FBMKLCI finished weaker after trading in a range-bound mode as selling interspersed with buying in selected heavyweights, mainly in plantation, banking and oil-and-gas stocks, taking cue from the weaker global markets after the United States Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) reiterated its hawkish stance in its latest meeting minutes.
