FBM KLCI - rallies to close higher for the fifth straight day

Stocks on Bursa Malaysia ended broadly higher yesterday with the benchmark FBMKLCI shook off early losses to end the trading day higher for the fifth straight day, putting on 1.60 per cent, driven by buying interests in selected heavyweights led by Petronas Chemicals and Public Bank on improving risk appetite in the domestic market to a pre-election rally.
