Stocks on Bursa Malaysia finished on a mixed note yesterday amid renewed concerns over the global economic outlook. The market swung between gains and losses as most investors stayed on the sidelines on lack of fresh leads. However, gains on the finance counter helped limit overall losses. The FBM KLCI ended 0.28 point lower at 1,786.39, after opening 1.13 points lower at 1,785.54. It moved between 1,784.61 and 1,790.40 throughout the day. However, market breadth was positive, with 435 gainers and 318 losers, while 322 counters were unchanged.
