Stocks on Bursa Malaysia continued their losses yesterday for the third consecutive day ahead of the country’s economic growth announcement for 2012. Most of the investors were reluctant to take a heavy position especially with the absence of fresh leads. The economic data, together with a string of corporate results which are to be released, will likely give some impetus to the local bourse. The FBM KLCI, which opened at 1,617.53, eased 1.74 points or 0.11% to 1,613.33, after hovering between 1,606.73 and 1,617.64 throughout the trading session. Losers led gainers by 399 to 283 with 299 counters unchanged. Total volume surged to 1.37 billion shares worth RM1.713 billion from Tuesday's closing of 884.415 million shares valued at RM1.17 billion. ...Read more>>
