Stocks on Bursa Malaysia closed mixed yesterday, but last minute buying, mostly seen in the Finance counters, has pushed up the benchmark FBMKLCI to a new high for this year. At close, the FBMKLCI stood at 1,855, up 3.63 points or 0.2%, after hovering between 1,847.81 and 1,855.83 throughout the trading session, beating the previous new high of 1,852.95 on Jan 2. Gainers outpaced losers by 420 to 415, while 336 counters were unchanged.
