Stocks on Bursa Malaysia closed lower yesterday in tandem with regional bourses on weak external sentiment as Asian stock markets fell following two consecutive days of heavy decline in the United States following forecast of lower American corporate profits. The FBMKLCI ended 1.13 points or 0.06% lower at 1,851.53 after moving between 1,847.92 and 1,854.52. Losers led gainers by 454 to 396, while 305 counters were unchanged. Turnover fell to 2.02 billion shares valued at RM2.04 billion from 2.22 billion shares worth RM1.97 billion on Friday. Read more>>
