Stocks on Bursa Malaysia closed broadly lower yesterday with the benchmark FBMKLCI ended in the negative territory after registering record highs for four consecutive sessions, dragged down by profit taking activities to end 5.91 points or 0.31% lower at 1,881.16 points after fluctuating between 1,877.63 and 1,888.13 throughout the day. Market breadth was negative as decliners outpaced advancers by 471 to 320, with 315 counters unchanged. Volume decreased to 2.036 billion shares worth RM2.043 billion from 2.324 billion shares worth RM2.389 billion recorded on Monday. Read more>>
