FBM KLCI - marginally lower amid consolidation

Stocks on Bursa Malaysia closed lower on Monday ahead of the Wesak Day holiday on Tuesday. The benchmark FBMKLCI closed marginally lower on mild profit-taking in selected index-linked counters to end the day at 1,866.08 points, down 0.64 point or 0.03% after fluctuating in a tight range of between 1,864.55 and 1,867.4 throughout the day. Losers led gainers by 414 to 391, while 288 counters were unchanged. Turnover was slightly lower at 1.57 billion shares worth RM1.54 billion, from 1.59 billion shares worth RM1.8 billion on last Friday. Read more>>
