FBM KLCI - marginally higher on last minute buying

Stocks on Bursa Malaysia closed mixed yesterday but buying on selected heavyweights managed to lift the benchmark FBMKLCI higher. The FBMKLCI ended 0.89 point or 0.05% higher at 1,876.69 after touching an intraday low of 1,872.14. Decliners led advancers by 482 to 403, with 301 counters unchanged. Total volume decreased to 2.88 billion units valued at RM2.160 billion from 3.01 billion units valued at RM2.239 billion on Monday.
