FBM KLCI - lower on continued correction

Stocks on Bursa Malaysia ended on an easier note yesterday, with the benchmark FBMKLCI closing 8.07 points or 0.44% lower at 1,839.29, dampened by profit-taking in index-linked heavyweights, after moving between 1,837.72 and 1,845.08 throughout the day. Decliners outpaced gainers by 576 to 251, with 288 counters unchanged. Total volume rose to 2.26 billion shares worth RM2.02 billion from 1.68 billion shares worth RM2.14 billion on Tuesday.
