Stocks on Bursa Malaysia ended higher yesterday led by telcos and key banking heavyweights, as investors are anticipating good financial results from telcos which will announce their quarterly performance soon. The benchmark FBM KLCI rose 8.35 points or 0.52% to 1,606.52, after opening 5.34 points lower at 1,592.83 and moved between 1,590.67 and 1,607.22. Losers slightly outpaced gainers by 358 to 343, while 333 counters were unchanged.
