Stocks on Bursa Malaysia continued Monday's gains to close higher yesterday on persistent buying support, particularly in finance and selected heavyweights. The local market reacted positively to the 2012 National Transformation Programme (NTP) Annual Report announced by the Prime Minister the day before. The FBM KLCI rose 6.08 points or 0.37% to 1,631.54 after hovering between 1,619.3 and 1,632.32. Gainers outpaced losers by 358 to 291, while 318 counters were unchanged.
