Stocks on Bursa Malaysia closed higher yesterday as the market regained its positive momentum after succumbing to profit-taking in the morning. Asian markets remained sluggish on renewed concerns over the Euro-zone debt crisis, particularly the risk of instability among financial institutions in Cyprus spreading to other parts of the region. The FBM KLCI rose 6.47 points or 0.39% to 1,674.04, after opening 1.94 points higher at 1,669.51. Advancers led decliners by 394 to 287, with 332 counters unchanged.
