Stocks on Bursa Malaysia rebounded from recent losses to close on a firm note yesterday due to renewed buying interest in blue-chip counters amid bullish market sentiment on most regional markets. The benchmark FBM KLCI surged 10.86 points or 0.66% to 1,659.44, after opening 1.91 points higher at 1,650.49, and hovered between 1,650.49 and 1,659.44. Gainers outpaced losers by 313 to 308, while 366 counters were unchanged.
