Stocks on Bursa Malaysia ended mixed yesterday lifted by late buying support. The fragile state of the global economy with the looming US fiscal cliff has also affected investor appetite for riskier assets, and locally Bursa Malaysia was trading with a negative breadth ahead of the much-awaited general election. The benchmark FBM KLCI gained 0.26 point to end marginally higher at 1,607.61 after moving between 1,601.71 and 1,608.46. Losers outpaced gainers by 375 to 265, while 329 counters were unchanged.
