FBM KLCI - likely to consolidate

Stocks on Bursa Malaysia snapped a seven-day winning streak to end lower last Friday on cautious trading amid the 2014 Budget announcement. The FBMKLCI closed 1.36 points or 0.07% lower at 1,817.57, after moving between 1,812.47 and 1,820.81 throughout the day. On a weekly basis, the FBMKLCI rose 17.98 points from previous Friday's 1,799.59. Losers led gainers by 385 losers to 380 while 317 counters were unchanged. Total volume rose to 1.759 billion shares valued at RM1.418 billion from 1.52 billion shares valued at RM1.657 billion on Thursday.
