Stocks on Bursa Malaysia closed higher yesterday on continuous gains in selected heavyweights which drove the benchmark FBM KLCI to close 6.61 points or 0.37% higher at 1,791.37 points after the Aidiladha holiday on Tuesday, as investors took cue from the positive performance on other regional bourses on Tuesday. The key index hovered between 1,786.1 and 1,795.48 throughout the day. Gainers led losers by 395 to 374 while 300 counters were unchanged.
