FBM KLCI - at fresh record high on window-dressing activity

Stocks on Bursa Malaysia closed higher yesterday with the benchmark FBMKLCI closed off best after touching an all-time high of 1,851.94 points, boosted by window-dressing activities by fund managers. The FBMKLCI ended with a gain of 13.02 points or 0.71% at 1,850.90, after fluctuating between 1,837.22 points and 1,851.94 points throughout the day, surpassing the previous record of 1,846.92 points registered on Dec 10. Gainers thumped losers by 388 to 362, with 335 counters unchanged.
