FBM KLCI - nears new high

Stocks on Bursa Malaysia ended mixed yesterday amid window-dressing and lack of direction from Wall Street last week dampening sentiment. However, strong buying momentum in selected heavyweights pushed the FBMKLCI 5.43 points or 0.30% higher to close at 1,818.15, near the all-time high of 1,818.93 registered on October 24th. Market breadth was negative with losers led gainers by 474 to 284, and 290 counters were unchanged.
