Stocks on Bursa Malaysia closed on a bullish note yesterday, with the FBMKLCI closing with a gain of 14.92 points or 0.82% at a new high of 1,841.87, boosted by "window-dressing" activities by local funds. The strong gains in the local bourse were also in tandem with its regional peers which were mostly influenced by Wall Street's good overnight performance. The last all-time high was registered on last Friday at 1,826.95. The FBM KLCI also recorded a new all-time intra-day high of 1,843.62. Gainers edged losers 457 to 294, with 320 counters unchanged. Volume transacted rose to 1.144 billion shares worth RM1.455 billion, from 1.03 billion shares worth RM1.61 billion transacted on last Friday. ...Read more>>
