FBM KLCI - lower on profit-taking correction

Stocks on Bursa Malaysia closed lower yesterday on weak market sentiment amid negative external developments, extending losses to two consecutive days after hitting a new record high on Tuesday. The FBMKLCI ended 8.95 points or 0.49% lower at 1,833.87, after fluctuating between 1,833.12 and 1,840.54 with losses mostly seen in key heavyweights. Losers led gainers by 407 to 320, with 335 counters unchanged.
