Stocks on Bursa Malaysia closed mixed yesterday but the benchmark FBMKLCI closed at a new all-time high of 1,824.29, surpassing an all-time high of 1,818.93 registered on Oct 24, lifted by gains in heavyweight Tenaga Nasional Berhad as market players cheered the government's continuous subsidy rationalisation through electricity tariff review. The FBMKLCI closed 6.14 points or 0.34% higher at 1,824.29 after hovering between 1,821.66 and 1,840.12. Losers led gainers by 445 to 325, with 324 counters unchanged. Total turnover fell to 1.24 billion shares worth RM2.1 billion from 1.25 billion shares valued at RM1.39 billion on Monday. ...Read more>>
