Stocks on Bursa Malaysia ended firmer yesterday with the benchmark FBM KLCI ended at a new all-time high, lifted by persistent buying in heavyweights. The previous all-time high was 1,694.16 recorded on Jan 7, 2013. The FBM KLCI rose 5.93 points or 0.35% to 1,696.2 after hovering between 1,687.91 and 1,697.51 throughout the day. Decliners edged out advancers 398 to 331, with 283 counters unchanged. Turnover increased to 1.131 billion shares valued at RM1.716 billion, from Tuesday's 1.119 billion shares worth RM1.809 billion. ...Read more>>
