FBM KLCI - closing at new all-time high

Stocks on Bursa Malaysia ended firmer yesterday with the benchmark FBM KLCI ended at a new all-time high, lifted by persistent buying in heavyweights. The previous all-time high was 1,694.16 recorded on Jan 7, 2013. The FBM KLCI rose 5.93 points or 0.35% to 1,696.2 after hovering between 1,687.91 and 1,697.51 throughout the day. Decliners edged out advancers 398 to 331, with 283 counters unchanged.
