Stocks on Bursa Malaysia ended broadly higher yesterday in active trading on strong investor buying support. Regional bourses, however, were mixed as investors were cautious of the US economic growth data. The FBM KLCI surged 17.39 points or 1.04% to close at 1,685.0, after opening 1.22 points higher at 1,668.83, and moved between 1,668.70 and 1,685 throughout the day. Advancers led decliners by 522 and 224 with 278 counters unchanged.
