Stocks on Bursa Malaysia staged a strong rally to end higher yesterday, pushing the benchmark FBM KLCI to touch a fresh all-time high for the second consecutive day. The benchmark index, spurred by aggressive foreign institutional buying, rose by 10.84 points or 0.64% to 1,707.04 after hovering between 1,697.97 and 1,710.35 throughout the day. Market breath was positive with gainers thumping losers by 416 to 317, with 304 counters unchanged.
