Stocks on Bursa Malaysia rebounded to end slightly higher yesterday amid the weaker sentiment on most regional markets as investors weighed in on the risks in the US Federal Reserve's policy outlook, where the Fed is widely expected to axe another US$10 billion from its monthly bond purchases at a meeting on Tuesday and Wednesday. The FBMKLCI gained 1.98 points or 0.11% to 1,876.58, after hovering between 1,872.09 and 1,876.59 throughout the day. Gainers led losers by 468 to 350, while 324 counters were unchanged. Total volume increased to 2.04 billion shares worth RM1.87 billion from the 1.63 billion shares valued at RM1.82 billion transacted on Tuesday. Read more>>
