Stocks on Bursa Malaysia ended yesterday higher on selective play despite lack of fresh catalyst to spur the bourse forward following the conclusion of the quarterly financial result reporting season last week. The benchmark FBMKLCI rose 3.8 points, or 0.2%, to close at 1,869 after fluctuating between 1,863.11 and 1,870.6 throughout the day. Gainers led losers by 380 to 361, while 349 counters were unchanged. Volume rose to 1.49 billion shares worth RM1.86 billion from 1.02 billion shares worth RM1.43 billion transacted on Wednesday.
